B Stairs Molotov from B CT

Steps

1. From B CT, walk toward the site entrance and find the concrete pillar on the left side. Stand with your left shoulder pressed against the pillar, facing directly toward the B Stairs doorway.
2. Look toward the B Stairs entrance. Find the top step where the staircase meets the site-level floor, visible through the doorframe.
3. Place your crosshair at the base of the doorframe - right where the metal frame meets the floor on the side closest to you. Aim at approximately ankle height.
4. Perform a standing left-click throw - no jump or movement needed. Simply aim and release the molotov.
5. The molotov shatters at the B Stairs entrance, spreading fire across the top of the staircase and the doorway. The narrow doorframe concentrates the fire, making it impossible for Ts to push through without taking heavy damage.

Tips

• This is the go-to defensive molotov for the B site anchor. The B Stairs doorway is narrow enough that the fire covers the entire entry width, creating an impassable wall of fire.
• Throw this immediately when you hear utility or footsteps on B Stairs. The 7-second fire duration gives your A player or mid player enough time to start rotating toward B.
• If the fire spreads too far into B Stairs (not covering the doorway), your crosshair was aimed too low. Raise it slightly to bring the molotov impact point closer to the door.
• Combine this with the B Stairs smoke for maximum delay. Smoke the stairs, wait for it to thin, then molotov for another 7 seconds of denial.
