Steps
- From A Ramp, walk up toward the top but stop about 2 meters before the ramp crests onto the site level. Stand on the left side of the ramp, pressing your left shoulder against the wall.
- Look toward the top of the ramp where it transitions to the flat A site floor. Focus on the ramp edge - the line where the incline ends and the flat surface begins.
- Place your crosshair at the ramp edge, about one-third from the left wall - at roughly head height for a standing player on the site level above you.
- Perform a standing right-click throw (underhand). The short underhand throw sends the flash just over the edge of the ramp without launching it across the entire site.
- The flash pops almost immediately as it clears the ramp edge, blinding any CT holding angles at the top of A Ramp. Because it is an underhand throw, it pops with minimal travel time, giving defenders almost no time to react.
Tips
- This is the fastest A site flash you can throw from the ramp. The underhand throw makes it pop within a fraction of a second of appearing in the CT’s field of view, making it a true pop flash.
- The right-click throw is critical - a left-click overhand would send the flash flying across the site, popping far too late to blind the ramp defenders. The underhand keeps it close and instant.
- Your team should be ready to crest the ramp the instant they hear the flash pop. The blind window is short (about 1.5 seconds), so timing is everything.
- If the flash does not clear the ramp edge (pops below the site level and misses the defenders), raise your crosshair slightly higher.
- Practice this lineup offline with

Smoke both angles first, then use this flash as the final utility before your team pushes over the ramp edge.

This flash is a versatile entry tool for T-side A pushes on Vertigo. Use it for:
- A Ramp crests where your team is about to push over the top edge and needs the CT defenders blinded before you are exposed on the flat site level
- Fast A rushes where your team is running up the ramp together and needs a quick flash at the top to overwhelm the defense
- Follow-up entries after your initial smokes are down and you need a flash to safely push through the smoked angles onto the site
- Default round aggression where you want to flash and peek the ramp for a quick pick on the A site anchor
- Eco round pushes where the flash advantage helps your pistols compete against the CTs’ rifles at the ramp crest
