Toilets Smoke from Playground

Steps

  1. From Playground, walk to the back-left corner near the tall concrete wall. Position yourself so your back is pressed into the corner where the wall meets the fence railing.
  2. Look up toward the rooftops. Find the small satellite dish mounted on the building ahead and slightly to the right.
  3. Place your crosshair on the lower-left edge of the satellite dish - where the dish mounting bracket meets the roofline. You want to be on the bracket itself, not the center of the dish.
  4. Use your jump throw bind (hold left click, then press your jump throw key). This lineup requires precise height from the jump, so a bind is non-negotiable for consistency.
  5. The smoke sails over the roof and blooms directly inside the Toilets entrance, blocking all CT vision from Toilets into Playground and the A site approach.

Tips

  • Toilets is one of the most dangerous angles for Ts pushing A site. CTs love to hold aggressive AWP angles from inside Toilets, and this smoke completely shuts that down.
  • If the smoke lands too far to the right (on the wall beside Toilets rather than in the doorway), you are standing too far forward. Back into the corner more tightly.
  • Always throw this smoke in combination with the Connector smoke from A Long. The two smokes together remove both primary CT holding positions on A site.
  • Practice offline with these commands: sv_cheats 1; sv_infinite_ammo 1; sv_grenade_trajectory 1; sv_grenade_trajectory_time 10; mp_roundtime_defuse 60
  • The smoke blooms in about 2.5 seconds. Call out the throw timing to your team so they can time their push to arrive at the site just as both smokes are fully active.
  • If you want to be extra aggressive, follow this smoke with the Toilets molotov from Playground to flush out any CT who tries to play right at the edge of the smoke.

When to Use

This is a must-have smoke for any A site pressure on Overpass. Throw it when:

  • Executing A site with your team pushing from Playground and Long - the Toilets smoke is half of the essential two-smoke combo
  • Fast A rushes where your team needs immediate Toilets coverage to avoid getting picked before reaching the site
  • A fakes to sell the execute and force CT rotations even when your team plans to hit B instead
  • Mid-round A takes when you have picked up Playground control and want to capitalize by taking the site before CTs can reposition
  • Eco rounds where your team is rushing A with limited utility - this single smoke provides massive value even without full executes
