Truck HE from Toilets

Steps

1. From Toilets, push toward the exit that faces A site. Stand in the doorway and press yourself against the right side of the door frame, partially concealed from the site.
2. Look toward A site and locate the Truck - the large vehicle parked on the site that CTs commonly hide behind. You can see the truck body and its rear bumper area.
3. Place your crosshair on the base of the Truck’s rear bumper, right where the bumper meets the ground. This low aim point ensures the HE grenade lands directly at the feet of anyone hiding behind the truck.
4. Perform a standing left-click throw - hold and release with no movement. The distance from Toilets to Truck is short, so a standard throw delivers the grenade accurately.
5. The HE grenade bounces once and detonates at the base of the Truck, dealing 50-80 damage to any CT hiding behind the vehicle and potentially forcing them out of position.

Tips

• Truck is one of the most common CT positions on A site. This HE grenade can deal enough damage to put the Truck player at a severe health disadvantage before your team even enters the site.
• If the grenade overshoots the Truck and lands on the far side, your crosshair was too high. Aim at the very base where bumper meets ground to keep the bounce tight.
• Throw this HE right before your team executes onto A site. The damage combined with your smoke and flash utility forces the Truck CT to either fall back or fight at low HP.
• Practice offline with these commands: sv_cheats 1; sv_infinite_ammo 1; sv_grenade_trajectory 1; sv_grenade_trajectory_time 10; mp_roundtime_defuse 60
• The HE grenade can damage through the truck body slightly, so even if the CT repositions to the other side, they still take some splash damage.
• Coordinate with your team: throw the HE, then have someone flash the site immediately after. The CT is now low HP and blind - an easy kill for your entry fragger.

When to Use

This HE is a high-value damage tool for T-side A takes. Throw it when:

• Pre-execute damage to soften up the Truck player before your team pushes onto A site, turning a fair gunfight into a one-sided one
• Flushing out the Truck CT who is playing a passive position behind cover - the damage forces them to reposition or peek at low HP
• Combining with other utility as part of a full A execute where every grenade deals chip damage across the site
• Eco round aggression when you have limited firepower but can afford an HE to even the odds against a full-buy CT
• Information gathering by listening for damage indicators - if the HE hits someone, you know for certain a CT is playing Truck
