Garage Smoke from Outside

CS2 Nuke garage smoke from outside. Jump-throw that blocks garage sightlines so T-side can control the outside yard safely.

Steps

  1. From the T-side outside area, move to the left wall near the container that sits against the building. Stand in the corner where the container meets the wall, using the container for cover from any CT peeking from garage.
  2. Look toward the garage entrance. Above the large garage door opening, find the rooftop edge of the building. There is a horizontal line where the roof meets the sky.
  3. Place your crosshair on the left third of the rooftop edge, directly above the left side of the garage door opening. This aim point sends the smoke into the garage entrance area.
  4. Use your jump throw bind (hold left click, then press your jump throw key). The jump is necessary to get the smoke over the container and into the garage opening.
  5. The smoke lands at the garage entrance, completely blocking CT vision from inside garage toward the outside yard. CTs can no longer hold the angle or spot players crossing outside.

Tips

  • Garage is one of the most dangerous CT positions on Nuke outside because it offers deep cover and a strong angle on the entire yard. Smoking it is the first step for any outside control.
  • Throw this smoke at the beginning of the round if your team plans to take outside control. It lands before CTs can set up an aggressive garage position.
  • If the smoke lands on top of the garage roof instead of in the entrance, your crosshair was too high. Lower it to the roofline edge rather than above it.
  • If the smoke falls short and lands in the yard (between you and garage), you were not standing close enough to the container. Push into the corner more tightly.
  • Pair this with a teammate pushing secret or mini while the garage angle is blocked. The smoke opens up multiple route options on outside.
  • Practice in an offline server with sv_cheats 1; sv_infinite_ammo 1; sv_grenade_trajectory 1; sv_grenade_trajectory_time 10; mp_roundtime_defuse 60 to verify the smoke fills the entire garage doorway.

When to Use

This smoke is essential for T-side outside control on Nuke. Deploy it when:

  • Outside executes where your team needs to cross the yard safely to reach secret, mini, or the B site vents
  • Split attacks where outside players take yard control while lobby players push A or ramp simultaneously
  • Default rounds to deny garage information and force the CT to play passively or rotate
  • Secret pushes where you need the garage angle smoked before crossing toward the secret entrance
  • Anti-AWP plays when you know a CT is holding garage with an AWP - the smoke makes the angle worthless for the entire duration
