A Site Flash from Hut
Flash A site on Nuke from inside hut. Blinds any CT on the site so your team can push out of hut onto A safely during executes.
medium T-Side standing left click a-sitehutentry
Steps
- From inside hut, move to the back wall near the exit that leads onto A site. Position yourself against the left wall of hut, pressing into the corner.
- Look up through the hut opening toward the A site ceiling. Find the edge of the roof opening where the hut’s enclosed ceiling transitions to the open A site hall above.
- Place your crosshair at the top-right corner of the roof opening, right where the hut ceiling meets the open space above. You want the flash to pop just above A site.
- Perform a standing left-click throw (overhand). Hold left click and release.
- The flashbang pops through the hut opening and detonates above the A site, blinding any CT on the site floor, on heaven, or near the vents area.
Tips
- This flash is essential for hut-to-A executes. The hut exit is a tight chokepoint and CTs will be watching it closely. The flash buys your team the seconds needed to exit hut and spread onto the site.
- Pair this with the heaven smoke from hut. Throw the smoke first to block heaven, then follow with this flash to blind the ground-level defenders. Together they make the hut exit much safer.
- The flash pops above the A site, which means it catches CTs at multiple positions - site floor, heaven (if not smoked), rafters, and near vents. The high detonation point is hard to avoid.
- Throw this flash immediately before your team pushes out of hut. Your entry player should be at the hut exit ready to swing out the moment the flash pops.
- Make sure your team has outside control before setting up in hut. If CTs still control outside, they can push through hut behind you while you are looking at the ceiling.
- Practice commands:
sv_cheats 1; sv_infinite_ammo 1; sv_grenade_trajectory 1; sv_grenade_trajectory_time 10; mp_roundtime_defuse 60
When to Use
Use this flash when your team is pushing A site from hut:
- Hut-to-A executes - flash the site from inside hut, then push out with your team for a coordinated site take
- Split A takes where players enter from both hut and ramp - the flash covers the hut entry group
- Fast hut pushes where your team rushes through outside and into hut for a quick A site hit
- Post-plant reflashes where your team has planted and needs to flash defending CTs during the retake
