Market Window Smoke from B Apartments

Steps

1. From B Apartments, walk through the hallway toward the exit that leads to B site. Before reaching the final doorway, stop and stand against the right wall of the apartment corridor. Position yourself next to the window frame on the right side, roughly two steps back from the exit.
2. Look up and to the right through the apartment opening. You can see the sky and the edges of the buildings surrounding B site.
3. Find the corner of the building roofline visible through the apartment exit. There is a distinct point where two roof edges meet at a corner. Place your crosshair on the lower tip of that roof corner, right at the vertex where the two edges converge.
4. Use your jump throw bind (hold left click, then press your jump throw key). The jump throw provides the arc needed to clear the buildings and reach market.
5. The smoke arcs over the B site area and lands directly on the market window opening, creating a thick smoke wall that blocks all CT vision from inside market into B site. CTs holding market cannot see the site, the bench area, or the short entrance.

Tips

• Market window is one of the deadliest CT angles on B site because it gives the CT a clear view of almost the entire site while staying behind cover. This smoke removes that advantage and is essential for any serious B execute.
• Pair this smoke with a B short smoke from another teammate to fully isolate the B bombsite. With both market and short smoked, CTs can only contest the plant from inside the site itself.
• If the smoke lands too low (on the wall below the window instead of covering the opening), your crosshair was too low on the roof corner. Raise it slightly. If it overshoots market entirely, you were aiming too high or standing too close to the apartment exit.
• You can throw this smoke safely from inside the apartments without exposing yourself to the site. This is a major advantage because it means you do not need site control before using this utility.

• Full B executes where your team pushes from apartments and short - the smoke prevents the market CT from getting picks on your team as they flood the site
• Fast B rushes at the start of the round - throw this smoke immediately and push together before CTs have time to set up additional utility
• B splits where players come from both apartments and short - the market smoke ensures the CT in market cannot pick off either group as they enter
• Post-plant positioning where you want to deny the market player from easily peeking the bomb after the plant - the smoke gives you time to set up in favorable positions
• Force-buy rounds where your team has limited utility and needs maximum impact - even a single smoke on market dramatically increases your odds of successfully taking B site
