B Bench Smoke from B Apartments

Mirage bench smoke from B apartments that blocks the market window AWP. Essential for B site executes to deny the most punishing CT angle.

medium T-Side jump-throw left click b-sitebenchexecute

Steps

  1. In B apartments, stand at the default position near the door that leads toward the apartments exit. Position yourself in the center of the doorway.
  2. Look out toward B site and up toward the buildings above. Find the corner of the building above market window - this is the upper edge where the wall meets the roofline on the market side.
  3. Place your crosshair right on the building corner, where the two wall surfaces meet at the roofline edge.
  4. Use your jump throw bind (hold left click, then press your jump throw key).
  5. The smoke sails over and lands on bench, creating a smoke wall that blocks all vision from market window into B site and apartments.

Tips

  • Without this smoke, the market window player has a devastating angle on anyone pushing out of apartments. An AWP in market window can single-handedly shut down a B execute.
  • This is a jump throw, making it slightly harder than the short smoke. Use a jump throw bind for consistency - do not try to manually time it.
  • Throw this smoke before your team pushes out of apartments. The timing is important because the smoke needs to bloom before the first player exits.
  • If the smoke lands too close to apartments (not reaching bench), your crosshair was too low. If it goes past bench toward market door, you were aimed too high.
  • The ideal B execute sequence is: throw bench smoke and short smoke simultaneously, then a teammate mollies van, then everyone pushes together.
  • In eco or force-buy rounds, this smoke is even more valuable because your team cannot afford to trade against an AWP at market window.

When to Use

This smoke is a required part of any serious B site execute on Mirage. Use it for:

  • Full B executes to deny the AWP player in market window their angle
  • B splits where players come from both apartments and short - the bench smoke ensures the market player cannot pick off the apartments side
  • Post-plant situations to re-smoke bench and force CTs retaking from market to push through smoke
  • Anti-AWP rounds where the enemy is consistently playing an AWP in market window and you need to neutralize it with utility
