A Site CT Smoke from Palace

Steps

1. Walk through palace and stop at the exit doorway that opens onto A site. Do not step outside yet.
2. Move to the right side of the door frame and press yourself against it. Your right shoulder should be touching the wall.
3. Look toward CT/ticket area. Find the corner of the wall on the far side of the site where it meets the ceiling - this is the upper-right edge of the CT archway.
4. Place your crosshair on that wall-ceiling junction, right at the corner.
5. Left click to throw the smoke. No jump is needed - this is a simple standing throw.
6. The smoke lands in the CT/ticket booth area, blocking vision from any CT holding that angle.

Tips

• This is one of the easiest smokes on Mirage. The standing throw makes it extremely consistent, and the reference point is obvious once you know it.
• Perfect for solo queue since you can throw it yourself while pushing out of palace without relying on teammates.
• Because it is a standing throw, you can peek the doorway immediately after releasing the smoke. There is very little time where you are vulnerable.
• If the smoke lands too deep in CT spawn, your crosshair was too high. If it lands too close to the site (not reaching CT), you were aimed too low.
• This smoke serves a similar purpose to the CT smoke thrown from T Spawn, but is faster and easier to execute from palace. Use this version when you are the palace player.

When to Use

Throw this smoke when pushing out of palace toward A site. It is useful for:

• Solo palace pushes where you need to block the CT player without team support
• Palace-side A executes in combination with jungle and stairs smokes thrown by teammates from T Spawn
• Late-round clutch situations where you need to isolate one angle while clearing A site from palace
• Post-plant setups where re-smoking CT from palace denies the retaking CTs their usual angle
