Steps
- In B apartments, walk to the doorway that opens toward B site. Stand in the center of the doorframe with a clear view of the site.
- Look toward B site and identify the bench area on the left side - this is the raised platform near the pillar where CTs commonly hold a close angle.
- Aim at the base of the pillar next to bench. Place your crosshair where the pillar meets the floor, slightly to the right of center on the pillar face.
- Left click to throw the molotov with a normal standing throw. No jump or special movement needed.
- The molotov flies through the air and splashes onto bench, spreading fire across the entire platform and forcing any CT hiding there to either retreat toward market or push into apartments.
Tips
- The bench position is extremely dangerous for Ts pushing out of apartments because the CT has a close-range angle and can use an MAG-7 or MP9 devastatingly. This molotov removes that threat entirely.
- Because this is a standing throw, you can throw it quickly during a fast execute without slowing down your team’s timing.
- If the fire does not cover the full bench area, your crosshair was probably too high on the pillar. Aim at the very base where it meets the ground.
- If the molotov flies past bench and hits the back wall, you are aiming too far to the right. Adjust your crosshair back toward the left side of the pillar.
- Pair this with the B bench smoke for a devastating combination - throw the molly first to flush them, then smoke bench to block market window during the push.
- Practice command:

When to Use
Throw this molotov to clear one of the most punishing close-range positions on Mirage B site. It is essential for:
- B site executes to deny the bench player their shotgun or SMG angle before your team exits apartments
- B rushes where clearing bench quickly is the difference between a clean site take and losing two players instantly
- Force-buy rounds when you cannot afford to trade kills against a CT playing an off-angle on bench
- Post-plant holds to re-molly bench and prevent CTs from retaking through that position
- Eco rounds where the bench molotov gives your team a much better chance with pistols by removing the strongest close-range hold
