Triple Box HE Grenade from A Ramp
Mirage HE grenade to damage the triple box player from A Ramp. Easy standing throw that punishes the most common A site anchor spot.

Steps
- Walk up A Ramp and stop at the top of the ramp just before the opening to A site. Stay behind the wall on the right side so you have cover from anyone on site.
- Press yourself against the right-side wall at the top of the ramp. You want your right shoulder flush with the wall to ensure a consistent throwing position.
- Look toward A site and find the triple stack of boxes (triple box) on the far side. Above the boxes, you can see the wall and a portion of the palace balcony structure.
- Aim at the wall directly above the triple boxes, placing your crosshair roughly one box-height above the top of the stack. Target the center of the wall panel above the boxes - this angle makes the HE bounce off the wall and drop right behind the boxes.
- Left click to throw the HE grenade. It flies across the site, hits the wall behind triple, and bounces down right onto the CT crouching behind the boxes. The explosion radius covers the entire triple box area.
Tips
- Triple box is the most common CT anchor position on Mirage A site. Nearly every round, at least one CT plays here. This HE grenade forces them to either take heavy damage or abandon the position entirely.
- The grenade deals 50-80 damage depending on exactly where the CT is positioned behind the boxes. Even at the lower end, tagging a CT for 50 before your team pushes onto site is a huge advantage.
- If the grenade is bouncing too far past triple and landing near CT spawn, your aim is too high on the wall. Lower your crosshair closer to the top of the boxes. If it is hitting the boxes themselves and detonating on the wrong side, aim slightly higher on the wall.
- Throw this immediately before your team pushes onto A site. The best timing is to release the HE, then follow it with a flash and push as a group while the CT is tagged and distracted.
- Pair this HE with a CT Spawn smoke and a Jungle smoke to isolate the triple player. With those two angles smoked off, the CT behind triple has no support and takes your HE with nowhere to run.

When to Use
This HE grenade is essential for T-side A site executes on Mirage. Use it when:
- A site executes - throw it as part of your utility sequence before the team floods onto site through ramp and palace
- A Ramp pressure rounds where you want to take ramp control and soften the anchor player without fully committing to a site take
- Anti-stack rounds when you suspect CTs are doubling up on A site with one player behind triple and another in sandwich or stairs
- Eco and force-buy rounds - if you can tag the triple player for 60+ damage with a $300 HE, your team with pistols has a much better chance in the site fight
- Late-round clutch situations where you know a CT is anchoring triple and you need to flush them out or weaken them before peeking
