B Apartments Entry Flash

Steps

1. From B apartments, push forward until you are near the exit doorway that opens onto B site. Stop a few steps before the door and position yourself against the left wall of the corridor.
2. Look up toward the ceiling above the exit. Find the top of the doorframe where the apartments transition to the open B site area.
3. Place your crosshair at the upper-right corner of the doorframe, right where the frame meets the wall. You want the flash to arc out of the door and pop above the B site planting area.
4. Perform a standing left-click throw (overhand). Hold left click and release.
5. The flashbang flies out of the apartments and pops above B site, blinding any CT holding the site from bench, short, market window, or the back of the site.

Tips

• The B apartments exit on Mirage is one of the tightest chokepoints in the game. CTs can hold the doorway with ease. This flash is the key to breaking through safely.
• Since this is a standing overhand throw, it requires no special timing or binds. It is easy to learn and consistent every time.
• Throw this flash right before your team pushes out of apartments. Your entry player should be at the door ready to exit as the flash pops. Do not let the flash window expire before your team moves.
• If the flash hits the doorframe and bounces back into apartments, your crosshair was too low. Aim above the frame to clear it.
• Combine this with the B short smoke and B bench smoke for a textbook B execute. The smokes isolate the site while the flash blinds any aggressive CT.
• If you have two flashbangs, throw the first one high (this lineup) and the second one as a pop flash through the door with right click for a quick double-flash entry.

When to Use

Use this flash when your team is pushing through B apartments:

• B executes - flash out of apartments, then push through the door with your team to take the site
• B rushes where your team commits fast to B and needs to blind the site defenders before exiting
• Late-round B hits when time is low and your team needs a clean entry through the apartments chokepoint
• Eco rounds where closing the distance through the doorway safely is critical against better-equipped CTs
