Top Banana Smoke from B Site

Steps

1. From B site, walk to the back corner near the fountain on the left side. Position yourself so your back is against the wall and you are tucked into the corner where the wall meets the stone pillar.
2. Look up and find the wooden beam that runs across the top of the archway above you. There is a small gap between the beam and the stone wall on the right side.
3. Place your crosshair on the bottom-right corner of the wooden beam, right where it meets the stone arch framing.
4. Throw with a standing left click - no movement or jump required. Hold your aim steady and release.
5. The smoke sails over the buildings and lands at top banana, cutting off the T-side’s sightline from upper banana toward the B site entrance.

Tips

• This is the alternative banana smoke when you are already positioned on B site rather than CT spawn. It gives you the same coverage from a closer position.
• Because you throw from B site, this smoke lands slightly faster than the CT spawn version - useful if the Ts are rushing banana early.
• If the smoke drifts too far right and does not fully block banana, you are standing too far from the corner. Press deeper into the back wall.
• If the smoke falls short and lands near car instead of top banana, your crosshair was too low on the beam. Aim slightly higher along the wooden edge.
• Combine this with a top banana molotov thrown immediately after the smoke fades to keep Ts stalled for an extra 7 seconds.
• Practice in an offline server with sv_cheats 1; sv_infinite_ammo 1; sv_grenade_trajectory 1; sv_grenade_trajectory_time 10; mp_roundtime_defuse 60 to perfect the angle.

When to Use

Use this smoke when you are already positioned on B site and need to block banana quickly. It is ideal for:

• Fast B holds where you are playing close on site rather than from CT spawn
• Second smoke rotation after the CT spawn banana smoke fades and you need to re-smoke from a closer position
• Retake setups where you rotate to B site and need to cut off banana before peeking into site
• Pistol rounds when your team plays two B and wants to delay without exposing anyone in banana
• Solo B holds where you play behind the smoke and listen for footsteps or utility coming through
