CT Spawn Smoke from Banana
Block CT rotations into B site with this banana-to-CT smoke on Inferno. Cuts off reinforcements so your team can take B safely.

Steps
- Push up banana past the car and position yourself near the bottom of the ramp on the left side. Stand against the left wall where the wall has a slightly recessed section - there is a small indent in the stonework you can back into.
- Look up and to the left toward the rooftops. Find the chimney stack that sits on top of the building above the B bombsite entrance.
- Place your crosshair on the right edge of the chimney, roughly halfway up its height. You want to be on the chimney itself, not the sky next to it.
- Use your jump throw bind (hold left click, then press your jump throw key).
- The smoke travels over the site and lands at the CT spawn entrance to B site, creating a wall of smoke that blocks any CT rotating in from spawn or the construction area.
Tips
- This is one of the two must-know banana smokes for B executes. Together with the coffins smoke, it creates a near-complete isolation of B site by blocking the two main CT angles.
- The CT smoke cuts off vision from any player rotating through CT spawn to help on B. Without it, a rotating CT can see straight through the site entrance and pick off your team mid-plant.
- Timing matters - throw this smoke right before your team pushes onto site, not too early. If you throw it 10 seconds before executing, the smoke will fade while you are still planting.
- If the smoke lands too deep (inside CT spawn rather than at the entrance), your crosshair was aimed too far left. If it lands on the site itself, you were aimed too far right or too low.
- Always clear banana before lining this up. A CT hiding in banana will kill you while you are looking at the sky.

When to Use
This smoke is essential for every coordinated B site execute:
- Full B executes - pair with the coffins smoke to block both the coffins angle and CT rotation simultaneously
- Late-round B hits when you expect CTs to rotate quickly from A through CT spawn
- Post-plant setups where you want to hold B site and delay the retake by forcing CTs to wait for the smoke to fade or push through it blind
- Eco/force rounds where your team commits to a fast B hit and needs to minimize the angles you face on entry
