Banana Smoke from CT Spawn
CS2 Inferno banana smoke from CT Spawn. Block T-side banana pushes safely from spawn every round with this easy standing lineup.

Steps
- From CT Spawn, run forward and position yourself on the right side of the pathway leading toward B site. Stand against the low stone wall where it meets the corner of the building on your right.
- Look up toward the rooftops. Find the tall chimney on the building ahead and slightly to your left. There is a distinct horizontal line where the chimney brickwork changes shade.
- Place your crosshair on the left edge of that chimney, aligned with the horizontal color change line - roughly two thirds of the way up the chimney.
- Hold left click and release with a standing throw (no movement, no jump). Keep your aim perfectly still as you release.
- The smoke arcs over the buildings and lands at the top of Banana, completely blocking T-side vision from pushing through the narrow corridor toward B site.
Tips
- This is the single most important CT-side smoke on Inferno. Throwing it at the start of every round buys your B players time to set up crossfires and gather information.
- The smoke blooms roughly 3 seconds after release, so throw it immediately at round start to have it land before Ts reach upper banana.
- If the smoke lands too deep (inside lower banana toward T ramp), your crosshair was too high. Lower your aim slightly toward the base of the chimney.
- If the smoke lands too short (near the car or logs area), your crosshair was too low. Adjust upward by a few pixels.
- Pair this smoke with a banana HE grenade or banana molotov to deal damage to any Ts who try to push through the smoke or stack behind it.

When to Use
This smoke should be thrown at the beginning of almost every CT-side round on Inferno. It is critical for:
- Standard B site setups where your team needs time to position before the Ts push banana
- Default defensive rounds where you smoke banana and play for information with one or two B players
- Saving utility for retakes by delaying the T push without committing players to aggressive banana positions
- Economic rounds where your B players have limited rifles and need the smoke to avoid an early fight
- Stacking A site when you want to leave banana smoked with a single player holding while four play A
