Top Banana Molotov from B Site

Steps

1. From B site, move to the left side near the first pillar as you face toward banana. Stand behind the pillar so you have partial cover while setting up the throw.
2. Peek out from the left side of the pillar and look toward banana. Find the car sitting in the middle of upper banana. Above the car, focus on the wall line where the building meets the sky.
3. Place your crosshair on the top edge of the wall directly above the car, roughly centered horizontally over the car’s roof. This gives you the right arc for the molly to drop onto car.
4. Throw with a standing left click while stationary. No jump or movement needed - the simple overhand throw has enough distance from this position.
5. The molotov arcs through the air and splashes on and around the car in upper banana, spreading fire across the area where Ts commonly take cover before pushing into B site.

Tips

• Car in upper banana is the most common staging position for T-side B executes. Clearing it with fire denies them their primary cover and delays the push.
• This molly is most effective when you throw it right as your banana smoke starts to fade. Ts often push through dying smokes, and they run straight into the fire.
• If the molotov lands too short (on the ground in front of car), your aim was too low on the wall. Raise your crosshair a few pixels higher.
• If the fire splashes past the car and lands deeper in banana, you were aimed too high. Lower your crosshair to sit exactly on the wall edge above car.
• After throwing the molly, step back behind the pillar. The Ts may throw utility back at you or try to push through the fire - be ready to fight or fall back to CT.

When to Use

Use this molotov to deny the car position in banana as part of your B site defense. It is valuable when:

• Banana smoke is fading and you need follow-up utility to extend the T-side delay
• Early round defense to force Ts away from car before they can set up their B execute utility
• Information gathering by mollying car and listening for damage sounds or enemy utility being thrown to extinguish the fire
• Aggressive B holds where you push up banana and want to clear car before peeking past it
• Eco rounds where you have limited weapons but utility to stall - the molly combined with a smoke can deny banana for 25 seconds
