Banana Molotov from CT Spawn

CS2 Inferno banana molotov from CT Spawn. Easy standing throw that punishes T-side banana pushes from a safe position.

Steps

  1. From CT Spawn, move toward the B site pathway and stop at the same position used for the banana smoke lineup - against the low stone wall on the right side where it meets the building corner.
  2. Look up toward the rooftops. Find the same chimney used for the smoke lineup, but this time aim slightly lower. Focus on the base of the chimney where it meets the roofline.
  3. Place your crosshair on the left edge of the chimney base, roughly where the brickwork begins rising from the roof tiles. This is about a centimeter lower than the smoke lineup aim point.
  4. Throw with a standing left click - no movement required. Keep your crosshair completely still as you release.
  5. The molotov arcs over the buildings and splashes at top banana, spreading fire across the narrow corridor and dealing heavy damage to any Ts pushing through or stacking up behind cover.

Tips

  • This molotov is the perfect follow-up to the banana smoke. Throw the smoke first, wait for it to start fading (about 13 seconds in), then throw the molly to catch Ts trying to push through the dying smoke.
  • Alternatively, throw the molly at round start before the smoke. Ts who rush banana fast will walk into fire, and you can smoke it off right after the fire dies.
  • If the molotov lands too deep (inside lower banana), your aim was too high. Lower your crosshair toward the roof tiles below the chimney base.
  • If the molly splashes short (near the car area), your aim was too low. Raise your crosshair slightly until it sits on the chimney base.
  • The fire lasts approximately 7 seconds, and combined with a smoke (18 seconds), you can deny banana for about 25 seconds total from one position.
  • Practice in an offline server with sv_cheats 1; sv_infinite_ammo 1; sv_grenade_trajectory 1; sv_grenade_trajectory_time 10; mp_roundtime_defuse 60 to compare this with the smoke lineup.

When to Use

This molotov is your damage-dealing companion to the banana smoke. Use it when:

  • Following up a banana smoke to extend the denial and punish Ts who push through the fading smoke
  • Early round aggression thrown at round start to catch fast banana rushes before your smoke is even needed
  • Force buys or anti-ecos where Ts group tightly in banana - the fire deals devastating damage to clustered players
  • Pistol rounds where a single molotov can swing the round by dealing 50-80 damage to multiple enemies in the narrow corridor
  • Combining with HE grenades for a utility stack - throw the molly first to force Ts to hold, then follow with an HE as they wait in banana
