B Back Smoke from B Main
Smoke B Back on Anubis from B Main to cut off CT rotations and retake angles. Jump-throw lineup for T-side B site executes.

Steps
- From B Main, walk to the left wall of the corridor as you face toward B site. Position yourself about three steps back from the corridor exit, pressing your left shoulder against the wall.
- Look up toward the buildings above B site. Find the edge of the rooftop on the building directly ahead. There is a clay pot or decorative element sitting on the roofline edge.
- Place your crosshair on the bottom edge of the clay pot, right where it meets the roofline. The crosshair should rest on the pot itself, not the sky above it or the roof below.
- Use your jump throw bind (hold left click, then press your jump throw key). The jump throw is needed to clear the B site walls and reach the back area of the site.
- The smoke arcs over the site and lands in the B Back area, blocking CT vision from the back of the site and the CT rotation path. CTs can no longer watch the B Main entrance from their deep positions.
Tips
- B Back is where CTs set up crossfires and hide during post-plant scenarios. This smoke removes their ability to hold the deepest angles and forces them to play closer to the site or in Heaven.
- If the smoke lands too far left and does not cover the B Back entrance, your position on the left wall was off. Make sure your shoulder is firmly against the wall three steps from the exit.
- Pair this with the B Heaven smoke from B Lobby for a complete B execute. These two smokes block the two most powerful CT positions, leaving only close-range angles that favor the T side.
- Practice offline with these commands:
sv_cheats 1; sv_infinite_ammo 1; sv_grenade_trajectory 1; sv_grenade_trajectory_time 10; mp_roundtime_defuse 60 - The smoke is also valuable post-plant. If you plant the bomb near B Back and this smoke is still active, CTs cannot easily approach for the defuse from their spawn side.
- Coordinate the timing with your B Heaven smoke. Both should be active at the same time for maximum effectiveness during the push.
When to Use
This smoke is a key component of B site takes on Anubis. Throw it when:
- Executing B site to block the deep CT positions and force defenders into close-range fights your team can win with entries and trades
- Post-plant lockdowns where the smoke denies CTs easy access to the bomb from the back of the site and their rotation path
- Split B takes where players push from B Main and B Ramp - the back smoke prevents CTs from falling back into safe positions
- Late-round B takes when CTs have stacked the back of B site expecting a push and you need to deny their positioning advantage
- Full utility executes as part of a coordinated smoke package that includes B Heaven and any molotovs or flashes for the site entry
