B Retake Flash from CT Spawn

Steps

1. From CT Spawn, walk toward the B site rotation path and stop at the last corner before the site opens up. Press yourself against the right wall, staying hidden from anyone on the site.
2. Look toward the B site opening. You can see the edge of the wall and the stone pillar that marks the entrance to B site from the CT side.
3. Place your crosshair on the upper edge of the wall you are hiding behind, right at the corner where the wall meets the ceiling. Aim at this junction point on the wall edge closest to the site opening.
4. Perform a standing left-click throw - hold and release with no movement. The flash bounces off the wall edge and pops above the B site at an angle that catches all ground-level positions.
5. The flashbang ricochets off the wall and detonates over B site, blinding Ts in common post-plant spots including B Pillar, B Main entrance, the bomb plant zone, and near the Tunnel exit.

Tips

• This wall-bounce flash is very difficult for Ts to dodge because it pops from an unexpected angle. Players watching CT rotation paths will be looking at head level, not up where this flash detonates.
• Time the flash with your retake push. Your team should be ready to swing onto B site the instant the flash pops. A 2-second delay between the flash and the push wastes the blind window.
• If the flash pops behind the wall (self-flashing your team), your crosshair was too far back on the wall. Move it to the very edge of the corner closest to the site.
• Practice offline with these commands: sv_cheats 1; sv_infinite_ammo 1; sv_grenade_trajectory 1; sv_grenade_trajectory_time 10; mp_roundtime_defuse 60
• Combine this with a teammate pushing from B Heaven simultaneously. The flash blinds site-level Ts while the Heaven player has the elevation advantage to pick them off.
• On full-buy retakes, throw this flash and then immediately follow with the B Main smoke to block T reinforcements while your team clears the site.

When to Use

This flash is a retake specialist for CT-side B site on Anubis. Throw it when:

• Retaking B site after Ts have planted - the flash gives your team the vision advantage needed to swing onto the site safely
• Coordinated retakes where multiple CTs approach from different angles and need a central flash to blind the entire site at once
• Post-plant pressure when the bomb is down and you need to get onto the site quickly before the timer runs out
• Clutch retakes where you are coming from CT Spawn alone and need the flash to even the odds against multiple Ts on site
• Force-buy retakes where the flash advantage compensates for inferior weapons in close-range gunfights on the B site
