Steps
- From B Lobby, position yourself in the corridor leading toward B Main. Stand against the left wall about four steps back from the corner where B Lobby opens into B Main.
- Look toward the corridor opening at roughly head height. You want to aim at the upper-right corner of the corridor exit, where the wall meets the ceiling on the right side.
- Place your crosshair on that wall-ceiling junction at the corridor exit. This spot ensures the flash pops immediately as it clears the corner, giving CTs no time to react.
- Start running forward toward B Main and right-click throw (underhand) the flashbang as you approach the final two steps before the corner. The underhand toss keeps the flash low and fast.
- The flash pops at head height right as it clears the B Main entrance, blinding any CT watching the corridor from inside B Main or from the site behind it. Swing the corner immediately.
Tips
- This is a true pop flash with near-zero reaction time for CTs. The underhand throw combined with forward momentum means the flash detonates the instant it is visible to defenders.
- Have your entry fragger right behind you, ready to swing the corner as the flash pops. The thrower should be second - let your teammate with the best aim take the first duel while CTs are blind.
- If the flash pops inside B Lobby (too early), you threw it too far from the corner. Wait until you are within two steps of the exit before releasing the underhand throw.
- Practice offline with these commands:
sv_cheats 1; sv_infinite_ammo 1; sv_grenade_trajectory 1; sv_grenade_trajectory_time 10; mp_roundtime_defuse 60 - Turn your head slightly right after throwing to avoid self-flashing. The pop happens behind you as you clear the corner, so a slight turn keeps you safe.
- This flash works on force-buy rounds too. Even with pistols, catching a CT fully flashed at close range in B Main is almost a guaranteed kill.

- Entering B Main as the first piece of utility for any B site execute - the flash guarantees a favorable opening duel for your entry fragger
- B rushes where speed is critical and you need to overwhelm the B Main defender before they can react or call for help

- Eco and force-buy rounds where the flash advantage at close range compensates for weaker weapons in the T lineup
- Split B takes where the B Main group needs to break through quickly while the B Ramp team creates pressure from the other side
