Jaguar Smoke from B Main

Steps

1. From B Main, walk toward the site entrance and find the large stone block on the right side of the corridor. Stand against the right face of the block, pressing your right shoulder flush against the stone.
2. Look up at the skyline above B site. Find the wooden beam that extends from the building on the far right side of the site.
3. Place your crosshair on the left tip of the wooden beam - right where the beam ends and the sky begins on the left side.
4. Use your jump throw bind (hold left click, then press your jump throw key). The jump throw arc is necessary to get the smoke over the wall and into the Jaguar position.
5. The smoke arcs across the site and lands at Jaguar, completely blocking the powerful off-angle that CTs use to hold B Main pushes from the side.

Tips

• Jaguar is one of the most punishing positions for CTs on Ancient B site because it provides a tight angle that is nearly impossible to pre-aim while also checking other positions. This smoke removes that threat entirely.
• Always pair this with the CT B smoke from B Ramp for a proper B execute. Smoking only Jaguar still leaves you exposed to CT B rotators.
• If the smoke lands too deep (behind the Jaguar pillar), your crosshair was too far right on the beam. Shift your aim slightly left.
• If the smoke lands too shallow (in front of Jaguar, not covering the angle), raise your crosshair slightly higher to increase the arc distance.
• Practice this lineup offline with sv_cheats 1; sv_infinite_ammo 1; sv_grenade_trajectory 1; sv_grenade_trajectory_time 10; mp_roundtime_defuse 60 to perfect the exact landing position.
• Communicate with your B Ramp player to synchronize both smokes - calling “throw on three” ensures both smokes bloom at the same time.

When to Use

This smoke is a critical part of T-side B executes on Ancient. Use it for:

• Full B executes where you need to isolate Jaguar before pushing through B Main with your team
• B Main entry plays where the entry fragger needs Jaguar smoked to safely clear the site without getting shot from the side
• Split B attacks combined with the CT B smoke to create a two-smoke wall that isolates the entire site from CT angles
• Default rounds where smoking Jaguar lets your lurker safely push into B Main for information or a pick
• Force-buy rounds where your team needs to rush B site and cannot afford to lose players to the Jaguar angle before reaching the plant spot
