CT B Smoke from B Ramp

CS2 Ancient CT B smoke from B Ramp. Blocks CT rotations into B site so your team can plant safely during B executes.

Steps

  1. From B Ramp, walk up toward the site entrance but stop at the metal railing on the left side. Stand in the corner where the railing meets the concrete wall, pressing your left shoulder into the junction.
  2. Look up and slightly to the right. Find the rooftop edge of the tall building that overlooks B site from the CT side.
  3. Place your crosshair on the lower-left corner of the rooftop ledge - right where the stone ledge begins its horizontal line against the sky.
  4. Use your jump throw bind (hold left click, then press your jump throw key). This lineup requires the arc from the jump throw to clear the structures between B Ramp and CT B.
  5. The smoke flies over the site and blooms at the CT B entrance, creating a smoke wall that blocks all vision from CTs rotating through CT spawn into B site.

Tips

  • This is the most important T-side smoke for B executes on Ancient. Without it, CTs can freely peek from CT B and pick off your team as you push onto site.
  • Pair this with the Jaguar smoke from B Main to create a double-smoke execute that isolates the site from both CT angles simultaneously.
  • If the smoke lands too far left (toward the B site pillar instead of the CT entrance), shift your crosshair slightly right along the rooftop ledge.
  • If the smoke falls short and lands on top of the site structures, you are not pressed tightly enough into the railing corner. Re-check your positioning.
  • Practice this lineup offline with sv_cheats 1; sv_infinite_ammo 1; sv_grenade_trajectory 1; sv_grenade_trajectory_time 10; mp_roundtime_defuse 60 to confirm the landing spot.
  • Throw this smoke about 1 second before your team commits to the push so it blooms right as the first player enters the site.

When to Use

This smoke is essential for any B site take on Ancient. Use it for:

  • Full B executes where your team pushes through B Ramp and B Main simultaneously to overwhelm the site defenders
  • B Ramp rushes where you need to cut off CT rotations before they can set up crossfires on the ramp entrance
  • Split B attacks where players come from both B Ramp and B Main, and CT B smoke prevents defenders from playing the deep angle
  • Post-plant situations where re-smoking CT B forces retaking CTs to push through smoke or take a long rotation
  • Late-round B hits where catching rotators off guard requires isolating the CT B corridor
