B Site Smoke from B Ramp
Smoke off B site on Ancient from B ramp to block CT vision during the push. Essential for B executes to get your team onto the site safely.

Steps
- From B ramp, push up until you reach the top section where the ramp begins to flatten out before the site entrance. Stop on the right side and back yourself into the corner where the right wall meets the ramp surface.
- Look up toward the buildings above B site. Find the edge of the rooftop directly above the B site entrance. There is a distinct overhang where the building’s roof line creates a sharp horizontal edge against the sky.
- Place your crosshair on the left end of the roof edge, right where the overhang meets the vertical wall of the building. You want to be exactly on the corner where the horizontal and vertical surfaces meet.
- Use your jump throw bind (hold left click, then press your jump throw key).
- The smoke clears the wall and drops onto the back of B site, blocking the CT holding the deep angle behind the pillar or near the back wall from seeing players pushing through the B site entrance.
Tips
- The back-site angle on B is where most CTs play because it offers the best cover and widest sightline on the entrance. This smoke cuts off that angle and forces the CT to either push through the smoke or reposition to a less favorable spot.
- This lineup requires a jump throw bind for consistent results. The smoke needs to clear the wall at the top of the ramp and drop in the right position behind the site.
- Coordinate with your team - throw this smoke right before the push, then have teammates flash through the entrance. Do not let the smoke fade before your team enters.
- If the smoke lands on the ramp side of the wall (too close to you), your crosshair was too low or your positioning was wrong. If it flies over the site entirely, you were aimed too high.
- Pair this with a molotov on the close corner to flush out any CT holding the near angle. The smoke covers the back while the molly covers the close side for a clean entry.

When to Use
Use this smoke in any B site take:
- Full B executes - smoke the back site, molly the close angle, flash through the entrance and plant
- Fast B rushes where your team commits early and needs to minimize the angles on entry
- Late-round B hits when time is running out and you need a quick, clean site take
- Eco/force rounds where closing the distance safely against rifles or an AWP is critical to surviving the entry
- Post-plant setups - if you need to re-smoke during the post-plant, knowing this lineup lets you throw it again from ramp
